This is a catalogue, not a shop. There is no cart and no checkout. Every saree is discussed with us directly, the way sarees have always been bought.

The Ilkal weave has carried a Geographical Indication since 2007. Every saree here was woven inside that GI area, on our own looms in Betigeri.

How Buying Works

No cart. A conversation

Nothing here is priced on the page, because no two pieces off a handloom are the same. This is how it goes instead.

  • 1 You tell us what you are afterMessage us on WhatsApp with the occasion, the colours you like, and roughly what you want to spend.
  • 2 We send photographs and the priceReal photographs of the actual piece, its measurements, the yarn and the zari. Usually the same day.
  • 3 Ready, or woven for youA piece in stock is dispatched the next working day. Woven to order takes a few weeks, and we tell you the date before you commit.
  • 4 It reaches youWe courier across India, and abroad on request. You are also welcome to collect it from the workshop in Betigeri.

Tell us your budget and we will show you honestly what it buys. If nothing in it works, we will say so rather than sell you the wrong saree.
